COMMUNITY RESOURCE OFFICER

Town of Bedford, Virginia - The Bedford Police Department is proud to announce the appointment of Officer Travis Thomas as the new Community Resource Officer for the Bedford Police Department.

As a Community Resource Officer, Officer Thomas will work closely with the community to provide resources, support, and assistance to residents in need. His primary focus will be on community outreach, building strong relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to ensure that the needs of town residents are being met.

Officer Travis's appointment as the Community Resource Officer is part of the Bedford Police Department's ongoing commitment to community policing and building strong relationships with residents.
